THE LOVE STORY
FROM GERALD
Our love
story started long before Uchechi and I ever actually met.
And when you think about it, most love stories start that way. Every moment leading up to the one in which you meet your future wife somehow shapes you and prepares you for that person you were fated for. Any previous heartbreaks or dark days or lonely nights can be crucially important in the grand scheme of things—sometimes we need to know what something feels like when it’s wrong before we can ever really know it when another thing is RIGHT.
The whole “girl meets boy, boy and girl fall in love, boy and girl get married” You people want details, don't you? Of course you do. Lol.
Somewhere after my former relationship, I read the book “The Secret” which is all about the law of attraction. I really, really believed in what it said. It inspired me. I realized that I had not arranged my life in a way that allowed for all the things I so desired. I hate to skim over some certain issues because it’s so important, but let’s just say that I KNEW I had to decide what I wanted my future to look like and started taking active steps towards attracting that future.
When I about to leave Port Harcourt to see Uchechi after a long interaction via the social media. At the Port Harcourt International Airport, while waiting for our flight to take off. I decided to go through the book again “The Secret” and while I was reading indeed the hidden secret of Love of my life, my heart skipped a beat. I unfolded the book.
I was shaking. I can’t explain it, but I felt like I was dreaming. My mind was racing with thoughts of how completely serendipitous this encounter will be, but how completely awful it felt to be entertaining thoughts of another relationship after how my last one ended.
And I COULD just say “the rest is history,” but that really wouldn’t be doing the story justice. The part that comes next is half the fun! I suppose that sometimes fate might whisper, but in our case, it screamed. Just save the date 13th and 14th December to hear the rest story.

FROM UCHECHI
When Gerald and I saw each other for the first time, we both
knew there was something. We didn't know then that it was love, but when he
said he loved me; I knew for sure that I felt the same way and still do till
this moment. Every day (even if it’s just on the phone or over social media) we
tell each other how much we love each other. I was so drawn in by his voice, I
just KNEW that I had to get to know him the more... So I started chatting with
him online and I never do this, but I gave him my phone number! He called me
the first day and we talked for about 4 hours! Talking to someone on the phone
for regularly can help you to really know them at such a deep level. Our
Friendship has been so wonderful all of this time. As fate would have it, He
has always been with me through a lot of personal things I was going through,
always cheering me up, always there for me. When he finally came to meet me in
person, it was the best time of my life! We are completely in Love and plan to
get married next. We are true Soul mates. True Love is worth the wait!
Advice
·
If you've been in a relationship for
over a month, don't be afraid to say I love you.
·
Attraction is great, but if there's
not a solid base of friendship and understanding the relationship will fall apart.
·
Listen to your mother, she knows!
